After you have met with your minimum down line targets you have to continue to be selling and recruiting for several reasons. If you continue to be selling and recruiting throughout your MLM life span, your growth will not be affected due to broken down lines. Rather your growth will be constant and up going, if your down lines outperforms you are going to benefit; even if they perform at a low rate, you will be having a constant growth assuming that if one branch of your down line fails the other will perform . Even if your growth is not going to be exponentially high, it will be adding up each year.
The up line distributor has
better merits and benefits than the other recruit down lines because he joined
the race a bit earlier than others. This is similar to the many
arms of the banyan tree; the early arms deep root and balance the tree and they
are strong and better than new roots; the stronger you are as an up line the
more money you make.
